GD Lynn: Spring Colours

It's Lynn (aka Lynnpenguin) here. I'm sooooo excited to be a Guest Designer here at Fitztown. This is my very first Guest Design Team post and I'm very happy to be a part of this great team of talented designers. I created this cheery/spring card to help warm me up during this awfully cold winter we've been having in Southern Ontario CANADA. Yikes! What a winter it's been.
I hope this bright and cheery card helps you to think about Spring and all the beautiful flowers and warmth to come! For my card I used this lovely flower FL1 and coloured it with my copics using yellow/oranges as my flower colour and added a nice green to the stem. I added a bit of brown dirt on the bottom and decided to use some great orange/white polka dot paper from my stash. I also found some lovely green cardstock to create a strip under the image. I used a scallop punch to give it a bit of shape and some plain white satin ribbon from my stash. I think this image is a wonderful versatile image that could be used for many occasions, not just Thank You that I've used. I can see it as a great Mother's Day card, Happy Birthday, Get Well, Thinking of You and even a "just because" kind of card. I hope you've enjoyed playing along with us this week on our "Spring Colours" Challenge.
Don't forget! The challenge rules have been made more flexible so you can play along and WIN with an outside image. Winners using a non-Fitztown image will win ONE image. If you do use a Fitztown image, you can link up twice doubling your chances of winning THREE images! Link up with your post and then link up a second time with your blog. Hope to see you playing along!
